"Ciorba de fasole" - bean sour soup
"Ciorba de vacuta" - beef sour soup
"Ciorba de burta" - soup made from cows 'intestines

"Sarmale" - cabbage leaves, or vine leaves, stuffed with meat and rice covered in sour creme served with "Mamaliga" - polenta
"Mici" or "Mititei" - mutton and beef meatballs served with mustard. They are long, not round and cooked on coal grill.

"Papanasi" - dense little doughnuts covered in cream and syrup

Merlot or Cabernet sauvignon for red grapes from Murfatlar, Cotnari or Panciu
Feteasca, Riesling, Muscat or Tamaioasa for white grapes. Same brand like above.
